Takeoff Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented Takeoff Technician to support our preconstruction and estimating efforts. This role is responsible for performing quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications, assisting estimators with cost development, and helping ensure accurate and complete project data.
Responsibilities:

Perform quantity takeoffs for civil, structural, and/or building scopes using digital plans

Review drawings and specifications to identify scope, quantities, and assumptions

Organize takeoff data and support estimate development

Assist with revisions and updates as design documents progress

Coordinate with estimators and project team members to clarify scope questions

Maintain organized records of takeoff files and backup documentation
Qualifications:
-
Experience performing construction quantity takeoffs

Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and basic estimating concepts

Proficiency with takeoff software and Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
-
Experience in civil, infrastructure, or building construction
-
Exposure to preconstruction or cost estimating environments
